Do you need a dog to quail hunt? I have never hunted quail before and am planning to raise and releas some, but I don't have a hunting dog. Just a fat goldenretriver, and a scitsophranic german shepard.

you can hunt without a dog you will find more birds with one

i agree ......you should hunt with a dog you will find some more quail ....i have gsp (german shorthair pointers) but i do not hunt quail i always wanted to
