none of the above. I use a .300 win. mag. with 180 grain bullet. It is custom sporterized, 98 mauser action from german nazi issue. the action was built in 1942 and even has the schwastika and falcon symbols on it. It will knock down a deer right now and it won't even wiggle.

I almost forgot to mention, I use the same gun for groundhog. It pretty much liquifies them, I have to rake them back in the hole, lol.

I tried that about 18 years ago and did not like it at all. The dang slug droped a foot in 50 yards.

mostly hunt deer with a .480 ruger 7 1/2 inch barrel 325 grain bullet

Every weapon on your list is a fine choice for deer. I favor the .243 as deer are a thin skinned animal. I generally use a 75 to 85 grain Boat tail bullet with a soft tip. Nice pop and exspansion, plus it gives you 250 yds of almost pin point acuracy depending on your optics and skill level.
