I would have to say Double longsprings, and Jump traps. Just because of the older style.

I like them all, some traps are not as good in one area vs another area. I would not put trappers ant-freeze on a new trap if i didn't have it waxed, to were i might do that to an old one. I like long spring, cs, offset, 1, 1-1/2, 1-3/4, 2, (3 for beaver). victors, dukes, northwoods these are the ones i have on hand now. I have not had the chance to try all of them. But the ones i have now work well for me.

It looks I am the only one here with a real opinion of trap brands.
In coilsprings I like Montgomery, BMI(new style only), and Sleepy Creek.
I don't really like jumps or longsprings that much because the jumps are a pain in the fingers to set and they seem to miss too many rats. longsprings just seem to take up too much space in the shed and bucket and they are hard to bed properly.
In bodygrippers I like BMI and Sleepy Creek mostly but I have found that any brand will do the job efficiently as long as the springs are strong. In fact this is the only trap style I will use from DUKE.

Having been around the block a time ot two, I have used alot of the traps on the market. I am a HUGE fan of Duke traps and run alot of them on my line. Mink/Muskrats- I like the 1 1/2 coil spring or a 110 body grip. Coons- I use the 1 1/2 coil spring. Fox- 1 1/2 or #2 coil spring. Yotes- 1 3/4 and larger coil springs.
